The Opportunity:

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As an intelligence professional, you’ll use your specialized experience and your attention to detail to develop reports, analytic assessments, and briefing products to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to provide critical intelligence support to inform key decisions that support our national security objectives.

As an analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand the complex biological threat capabilities of our foreign adversaries. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, develop target networks, and combine information from disparate sources to identify potential leads. As the authority on biological technologies and capabilities, your client will look to you for key intelligence insights, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas like strategic intelligence production, biological developments, adversarial threat capabilities, and analytic methodologies. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources to learn new skills and tools. You Have: 

  • 6+ years of experience in biological research, open-source intelligence research, collection management, HUMINT, SIGINT, or MASINT targeting
  • Experience with All-Source Analysis
  • Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and tradecraft
  • Ability to understand complex biological research topics, create intelligence products, and brief findings to customers
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Life Science

Nice If You Have: 

  • 10+ years of experience with open-source intelligence or HUMINT targeting applied against life science topical areas
  • Experience with data science or quantitative analysis techniques
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
