Software Engineer

This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer, you’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

• Experience working in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework and developing across an entire stack of technologies, including full-stack development
• Experience with programming or markup languages, including JavaScript, Python, XML, HTML, CSS, JSON, or YAML
• Experience with Angular 2+
• Experience with software version control systems, including Git
• Experience with interfacing with SQL and NoSQL technologies, including Oracle and MongoDB
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 90 days of hire

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Linux operating system and command-line interfaces
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with tools for geospatial development, including GeoPandas, Shapely, GDAL, and RasterIO
• Experience with the ESRI suite of applications
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies, including SCRUM and KANBAN
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree
• AWS Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
