Logistics Engineer

Key Role:

Assist clients with balancing resources, requirements, goals, objectives, plans, and operational techniques across supply chain material management elements within an organization. Use best business practices, rules, data collection, and performance measurement techniques. Perform material management quality assessments and assess and help clients implement, execute, and optimize techniques and processes, including supplier relationship management, customer relationship management, risk management, and aligning functional processes with organizational goals, objectives, and priorities. Review progress and evaluate results and assign and plan resources to given projects or tasks. Offer solutions and new ideas and identify opportunities to grow existing business or support firm-wide initiatives. Leverage techniques, tools, distribution channels, analytics, and management processes to create a dynamic, solution-focused, supply chain operation that integrates and manages the flow of products, services, and information to reduce costs and effectively and efficiently meet mission objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with weapon systems supportability, including maintainability programs and information systems

-Experience in working with Air Force supply chain systems, including GO81, LIMS-EV, CAMS, and IMDS

-Knowledge of logistics and supply chain systems and applications

-Ability to work in a team environment

-Active Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with analyzing discrete supply chain planning and execution issues

-Experience as an Air Force Supply Chain Senior Non-Commissioned Officer or Government Civilian Equipment Specialist

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-APICS or other logistics certifications
