The Opportunity:
In this role, you will support Systems Engineering & Integration activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment. You will interface and collaborate with Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team members, contractors, government civilians, and members of the USSF. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and support several working groups responsible for technical discussions, risk identification, requirement gaps, and development of briefings, action items, and meeting minutes.
In this role, you'll provide leading-edge SE&I for the Space Force client. Our team supports the acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation's warfighters. We are seeking technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.
How You'll Contribute:
- Develop Test and Evaluation (T&E) strategies, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, requirement verification, and test plans
- Collect, review, analyze, and report T&E data to inform system development and integration
- Support implementation of a common Test and Evaluation database for the program
- Lead and support T&E reviews, audits, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)
- Procure test equipment and develop test plans to test candidate software/hardware changes and technology concepts
- Provide Government leads with accurate, objective, and impartial verification of system compliance
- Develop system-of-systems verification plans and trace verification plans to test events
- Collect, analyze, and report on data collected during system-of-systems integration events
- Implement Test tools and DevOps for testing analysis
- Develop system integration plans for end-to-end system capability

You Have:
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering
- 7+ years of experience in multi-faceted tests and test project teams
- 7+ years of experience with test and evaluation, including DoD/USAF test processes and documentation
- 3+ years of experience in space systems, including space, ground, or terminal segments
- Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science
Nice If You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with ground systems, such as terminals and networks
- 3+ years of experience with military space systems, MILSATCOM, commercial SATCOM, or network engineering
- 3+ years of experience in writing Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) for space systems
- Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Possession of strong interpersonal skills
- Master's degree in a STEM field such as engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science
- Systems engineering certifications, such as CSEP, ESEP, or OCSMP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
