Technical Cyber Network Security Analyst

Key Role:
Assist with the coordination of assessments of threats and vulnerabilities through technical deep dive desktop evaluation of network artifacts. Support assessments and evaluations of security vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure the development of system life cycle documentation by reviewing and endorsing documentation and providing recommendations to government assessors. Ensure system vulnerabilities are tracked, categorized, and mitigated against risks and support the documentation of system vulnerabilities into automated systems and tools. Support the government in advising on system security, planning, progress, and risks and ensure Cybersecurity is incorporated into all aspects of system development and implementation

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls

-Experience with network protocols, including TCP, UDP, ICMP, SNMP, and HTTP

-Knowledge of network attack vectors

-Knowledge of the functionalities and capabilities of computer network defense technologies, including Router ACLs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and Web content filtering

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Network+ or Security+ Certification

-Cisco Certification

-CEH Certification

-BA or BS degree in Software Engineering

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
