Enterprise Software Engineer, Mid

The Opportunity:  

As an Enterprise Software Engineer, you know that a good site or system needs the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We’re looking for a back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients. 

As an Enterprise Software Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to help deliver solutions. Using your software engineering knowledge, you’ll work with and learn from the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have: 

  • Experience using Java to build enterprise products and applications

  • Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) software patterns to ingest large and complex datasets

  • Experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD

  • Knowledge of streaming analytic platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Spark

  • Knowledge of common Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and how to apply them  

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in software engineering or 7+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree 

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with graph databases, such as Neo4j

  • Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations 

  • Experience building real-time data processing applications using streaming libraries like Kafka Streams

  • Experience modeling data and relationships in graph databases

  • Experience with networking concepts, protocols, and analysis, including routers or switches

  • Knowledge of SIGINT collection and analysis systems

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
