The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your Platform Engineering expertise in a high impact role? Booz Allen has an opportunity to showcase your talents by supporting the United States Air Force. We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join the team. You’ll help operate a secure, reliable, and highly available Cloud, Managed Hosting, and Developer Platform.
You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to translate business and development team requirements into automated platform solutions. You’ll be responsible for working with a Security & Compliance team and Platform Engineers to implement secure infrastructure features, configurations, and automation to create a dynamic platform-as-a-service for development teams.
You'll use your expertise in AWS cloud, Cloud and Network Security, Containers and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll use your communication skills and be able to work independently while leading others and be able to work across development teams. You'll work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You Have:
4+ years of experience with DevOps for Containerized and Kubernetes production systems
3+ years of experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation
3+ years of experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
3+ years of experience with Kubernetes Deployment and GitOps tooling
3+ years of experience with Cloud and Network Security architecture
Experience with the DoW
Experience with hardened AMIs and Container Images
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain a DoW 8570 IAT II Certification within 60 days of start date
Nice If You Have:
Experience with vulnerability management, dynamic or static code analysis, and promoting solutions into higher classification environments
Experience working with or developing Special Access Programs (SAP) mission workloads
Experience working with FENCES and Keycloak
Experience with concepts of Service Meshes such as Istio or AWS App Mesh
Experience in multiple cloud service providers (CSP)
Experience in Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID
Experience managing and configuring Ubuntu, RHEL, or Windows Server operating systems
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, statistics, or engineering
DoW 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
