Joint Logistics Planner

Key Role:

Perform in a Joint Logistics Planner role, demanding a high level of expertise in critical logistics operations to provide decision advantage. Create and manage schedules and battle rhythms, and coordinate with Joint Logistics requirements throughout multiple locations. Play a critical role in ensuring streamlined logistics operations and support decision-making processes efficiently and effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a military or government logistics and sustainment operations professional
  • 5+ years of experience with Joint Logistics operations and planning
  • 3+ years of experience supporting the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility
  • Ability to assist in developing logistics support policies, concepts of support, and standard operating procedures to support logistics operations in the Joint Area of Operations (JOA) based on operational requirements or constraints
  • Ability to assist in developing and updating Logistics Command Policies that outline Logistics mission requirements based on the operational environment
  • Ability to monitor planning and implementation of comprehensive logistics programs for sustainment of highly complex, fielded, or planned fielding of new systems
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and direct the activities of logistics functions, including supply, services, maintenance, and transportation in the AOR
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lines of Effort that support the Joint Concept for Contested Logistics
  • Experience with the entire spectrum of global resources and capabilities
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and across departments and commands
  • Experience supporting Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) operations, and Homeland Defense and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations
  • Knowledge of Joint Campaign, Contingency, and Crisis Action Planning procedures, Joint Doctrine, and Joint Publication (JP) 4-0, JP 4-01, and JP 4-04
  • Ability to provide analysis of theater air, sea, and surface transportation resources by monitoring various in-transit visibility (ITV) systems
  • Ability to work with requesting units, organizations, or headquarters staff to validate movement requirements, obtain Judge Advocate Review, deconflict schedules, and address diplomatic, health, safety, and security requirements in preparing documentation for military movement support
  • Ability to conduct strategic assessments and brief senior military leaders
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
