The Opportunity
Design, develop, and execute intelligence solutions that support Department of War (DoW) human intelligence (HUMINT) and counterintelligence (CI) missions, organizations, and operational processes. As a HUMINT Analyst, you’ll provide analytical support to collection operations, review and support the publication of intelligence information reports (IIRs), coordinate IIR evaluations and source validation, and develop recommendations that help client decision-makers understand operational risk, collection value, and mission impact. You’ll apply client tradecraft, critical thinking, and regional awareness to support warfighter requirements in a dynamic mission environment focused on regional instability and emerging threats. You’ll brief stakeholders, collaborate with joint and interagency partners, share expertise across the team, and support shift work as required by the mission.
You Have
10+ years of experience conducting DoW HUMINT or CI collection
5+ years of experience conducting analytical functions that support HUMINT or CI collection operations, including IIR review and production, IIR evaluations, source vetting and validation, collection management, and briefings
Experience with DoW HUMINT or CI collection and reporting tools, methodologies, regulations, and policies, including those related to HUMINT or CI analysis
Experience working in a Joint Task Force, Combatant Command, or other joint operational environment
Ability to apply HUMINT analysis, CI analysis, client tradecraft, and critical thinking to support operational decision-making
Ability to brief stakeholders, collaborate across teams, and communicate recommendations clearly in verbal and written formats
Ability to work shifts and support mission requirements in a forward operating environment
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice to Have
3+ years of experience in a leadership role
Experience conducting DoW CI or HUMINT operations at the tactical or operational level
Experience supporting intelligence operations, analysis, or planning focused on East Africa, the Horn of Africa, the Red Sea corridor, or regional counterterrorism and security issues
Experience with U.S. intelligence all-source analysis tools and systems used to research, integrate, visualize, and produce intelligence in support of operational and strategic requirements
Experience integrating artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data science, automation, or advanced analytics into daily taskings, analytic workflows, production processes, or operational decision-making
Knowledge of biometrics and the use of identity data in HUMINT or CI operations
Possession of excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Master’s degree in a related field
Graduate of a DoW HUMINT collection course, CI agent course, HUMINT or CI analyst course, or HUMINT or CI staff officer or desk officer course
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
