Job Description
The Opportunity:
What if you could use your engineering skills to transform research and development for aircraft instrumentation? As an Electrical Engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to designing, developing, modifying, testing, and evaluating complex hardware devices and systems. We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer who can use their skills to provide dedicated onsite electrical design expertise.
Our team creates electrical designs for modifying, installing, and evaluating aircraft test instrumentation. That’s why we need you, an Electrical Engineer with experience in applicable hardware integration, to help us integrate the latest technology in aircraft instrumentation. You’ll be using Auto CAD Electrical to develop and process instrumentation design requirements by attending test planning meetings and performing preliminary planning via e-mail and telephone calls. You’ll be working with systems engineers and will directly impact testing on aircraft instrumentation design by providing assistance, consultation, and direction for updating designs to reflect engineering changes to installation drawings. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring. Join us and take on exciting challenges in testing aircraft and other instrumentation design as we support DoD testing.
We have the technical responsibility for developing and recommending design approaches for instrumentation modifications and installations. You’ll also support government engineering personnel with installation considerations for system electrical components, including accessibility, maintainability, component selection, and application of maintenance guidance and practices associated with airworthiness and safety for air vehicles.
Join us. The world can't wait.
