Contracts Strategist

Key Role:

Consult on contract negotiations and development processes and practices on behalf of the U.S. Space Force. Advise on existing contracts and renew strategic alliances. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cradle-to-grave contract management
  • 5+ years of experience in a government or government support role with unlimited warrant level authority
  • Experience with Major Weapons Systems Acquisition Contracting
  • Experience as a Procuring Contract Officer (PCO)
  • Experience interpreting and applying complex acquisition rules and regulations and providing actionable recommendations to clients, including senior government executives
  • Experience with a $5M contracting warrant and above
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Level III DAWIA Certification in Contracts or Acquisition

  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) Certification

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $77,400 - $161,700 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $82,300 - $197,700 (annualized USD)
