Key Role:
Serve as a Cybersecurity systems engineer supporting systems engineering and integration activities for military satellite communications programs. Ensure Cybersecurity requirements are incorporated throughout the system’s acquisition life cycle, from pre-award to development and accreditation. Contribute to and review system documents such as Cybersecurity strategies, network architectures, and implementation plans. Leverage emerging technologies and processes to build resilient Cyber defenses. Lead and participate in working groups involving multiple stakeholders and mission partners. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with performing Cybersecurity engineering on satellite, space, or communications programs for DoD, federal, or commercial clients
-Experience with developing and reviewing Cybersecurity requirements, architecture, and design for enterprise systems and system segments
-Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to accomplish tasks
-Secret clearance
-BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics required
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities needed to obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO)
-Knowledge of End Cryptographic Unit (ECU) design and certification processes
-Ability to provide systems engineering, specifically in the areas of Cybersecurity, cryptography, or information assurance (IA)
-Ability to provide subject matter expertise to system engineering documents, including technical requirements documents, interface control documents, and system specifications
-CISSP Certification
