The Challenge:
Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in national security? You understand your customer’s environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design a mission critical system. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize Global Position Systems (GPS). You’ll develop your skills in Position, Navigation, and Timing while gaining experience in M Code, Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM), and the GPS enterprise. Grow your skills by merging systems engineering principles and software development to create a custom mission planning system for GPS. You Have:
1+ years of experience testing computer systems or satellite communications hardware
Ability to conduct integration and testing on space or airborne modules, sub-systems, or complete systems
Ability to analyze customer system requirements and translate to deliverable system functional requirements
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with writing documentation for systems development, including System and Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs), Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs), Test Plans, and requirements matrices
Knowledge of GPS satellite system hardware or software
Ability to write basic software tools in C#, C++, Python or MATLAB
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
