Full-Stack Developer, Senior

The Challenge:

As a full-stack developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced and DevSecOps environment. We’re looking for a developer with the skills needed to build web-based systems, microservices, APIs, and integration using streaming platforms from vision to a production-ready system. You will assist the client to resolve complex issues relating to data aggregation through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support and project supervision.

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify needed system improvements, and develop self-service visualizations and real-time analysis of government data. Using modern Agile Software Development and DevSecOps delivery methodologies, you’ll work with the development team to modernize, enhance, and maintain solutions. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience with solutioning
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies as part of a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery workflow
  • Experience with dashboard development in Qlik, PowerBI, or Tableau
  • Experience with dissecting and interpreting large data sets in support of real world operations
  • Experience with Agile Development practices, Jira, and Confluence
  • Experience with data ETL processes and AWS Native Services
  • Experience with advanced analytics methodologies
  • Experience with requirements capture, user engagement/training, use case/product development and customer relationship management
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience supporting a multitude of Joint Command requirements
  • Experience with solution architecture, including software integration and SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS implementation
  • Experience with leading system architecture and engineering involving the integration of COTS, GOTS, and FOSS software solutions, cloud, infrastructure, data architecture, and cybersecurity
  • Experience in working with business-area SMEs to define and understand business needs and translating these needs into a system design resulting in a successful solution
  • Experience with software and database development, including Java, RDBMS or NoSQL and engineering efforts, including working to design and implement full-scale integration between partnering systems
  • Experience with providing systems engineering support to Agile software development effort, including new development and O&M support for applications
  • Knowledge of Agile practices and tools, including JIRA or Git and Cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Knowledge of architectural modeling, data modeling, software infrastructure, IT standards, platform architecture, project management, tactical planning, risk management, software product design, problem solving, effectiveness measurement, IT procedures, strategic planning, software architecture, or IT policies
