Information Operations Planner

The Opportunity:

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled planner to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients sound recommendations. As an Information Operations Planner you use your specialized functional, technical, and military experience to coordinate, monitor, and assess and future operations to give your client the actionable plans and recommendations they need. If you have excellent analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters and protect our national security.

As an Information Operations (IO) Planner you have the opportunity to fill a variety of roles to include providing reach back support, serving on an IO Field Support Team (FST), evaluating IO FST readiness, or supporting a wide variety of other IO planning efforts. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas like cyberspace operations, military deception, and Electronic Warfare. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources to learn new skills and tools. You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with military operations

  • 2+ years of experience with Information Operations or PSYOP and MISO

  • Experience with Operations and Plans, including future operations or deliberate planning

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Formal Information Operations training, including the FA-30 Qualification Course, Army Information Operations Planner's Course (AIOPC), formal Psychological Operations (PSYOP), or Military Information Support Operations (MISO) Training

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as an IO Planner or on a Field Support Team

  • Experience in one or more of the following, Electronic Warfare (EW) and Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), Civil-Military Operations or Civil Affairs, Public Affairs and Strategic Communication, or Military Intelligence

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
