Systems Security Network Engineer, Lead

The Challenge:

As a systems security and network security engineer, you can identify the tools, security systems, devices, and applications needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experience to oversee the development and implementation of security solutions that support our client. 

On our team, you’ll supervise a team as they troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of network and security devices, applications, and tools. You’ll manage the research of technology and market trends to further develop security solutions. Using your skills, knowledge, and expertise, you will assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
  • Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises. 
  • Lead risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas; leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in design and implementation of C2C and C2R policy instantiated within ForeScout policy
  • 3+ years of experience in establishing baseline security rules and policies
  • 3+ years of experience with deploying and utilizing Cisco ISE as an NAC solution
  • TS/SCI clearance 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Security+ CE Certification
  • Cisco CCNP Security or Forescout FSCA Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with integrating cybersecurity data using enterprise tools, including data aggregation and analytic tools, including Splunk
  • Experience with network engineering
  • Experience with virtualization technologies
  • Knowledge of Cisco ISE and Forescout architecture, including deep level analysis for troubleshooting integration issues
  • Ability to provide support in a secure IT operations and Maintenance Tier II or Tier III role, including issue response and issue remediation

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
