Configuration Management Specialist, Senior

Key Role:
Supervise junior staff to plan, evaluate, direct, track, analyze, and coordinate configuration management (CM) activities for a large portfolio, including multiple programs and inter-related projects. Perform proper baseline identification of configuration items, performing periodic audits, and providing verification of version release configuration items. Develop and maintain CM process standards, plans, and procedures for the portfolio, program, and project managers. Manage change processes to ensure methods and processes are properly approved, communicated, and managed throughout the CM process.

Basic Qualifications:
-15 years of experience with planning, evaluating, directing, tracking, analyzing, and coordinating CM activities on large, complex programs and projects

-Knowledge of CM-related DoD Enterprise Information Technology

-TS/SCI clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills and

-Possession of excellent time management skills
-BA or BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field

-Configuration Management Training Foundation (CMTF) Level 1 - CICM Certification
-Certified International Configuration Manager Certification
