Cyberspace Fires & Targeting Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Coordinate joint strategic and operational planning and execution of joint fires, targeting, capability pairing, and threat mitigation in support of the Cyber Mission Force and partner operations.  Provide advice to leadership on all principles of the Joint Targeting Cycle, including offensive cyberspace operations target nomination, deconfliction, and planning throughout the entire Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP), including High-Value, High-Payoff, Time-Sensitive, and Component-Critical targets. Participate in exercises as Senior Fires support. Synchronize and deconflict Special Access Programs (SAP) or Special Technical Operations (STO) and capabilities with operational planning. Coordinate targeting strategy development and engagement responsibilities with Components, subordinate commands, and supporting commands.  Conduct assessments and analysis, shaping targeting methodologies supporting basic, intermediate, and advanced target development. Provide scheduled and ad hoc briefings and point papers on cyberspace operations.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience with Fires or Targeting operations
  • Experience with senior leadership briefings in a cyber environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, organize activities, analyze threat data, and present solutions to complex problems
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS degree or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • IAT Level II certification
  • Graduate of the Joint Targeting School
