Inspector General Specialist

Key Role:

Analyze the direction of an organization's policies and objectives involving matters of government and regulations. Exhibit an in-depth understanding of the DoD and Federal Government regulations governing the conduct of a Command’s cyberspace mission. Assist the client with the performance of inspections or audits through the review of different types of records, including operational records, such as threat actions or contract files or financial records, such as monthly payment invoices or quarterly withholdings. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in assisting with the client in the collection of information from all sources, including internal and external, that could require analysis and independent review
  • Ability to establish and maintain business processes to ensure all referred issues are fully and accurately recorded
  • Ability to engage with members of the command or client working groups supporting the client and maintain records of meetings for official purposes
  • TS/SCI Clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with performing inspections or audits through the review of different types of records and operational records, including threat actions, contract files, or financial records
  • Knowledge of the DoD and Federal Government regulations governing the conduct of the Command’s cyberspace mission
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
