Lesson Learned Analyst

Key Role:

Provide SME support to drive the U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) Lessons Learned Program forward with the implementation of lessons learned into a variety of Command operations, training, and staff initiatives. Assist USCYBERCOM-assigned forces to track, elevate, and resolve observations and issues across the Command and subordinate components in order to build a culture of continuous improvement at the strategic and operational levels of cyberspace operations. Train Command personnel on the lessons learned process and tools. Serve as advisors and integrators in the pursuit of positive change throughout the cyberspace operations domain. Review, validate, and publish joint lessons learned information into appropriate platforms. Monitor and report progress for issue resolution and disseminate reports and other products to the larger community. Provide recommendations to the client regarding strategy, doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures for the joint employment of Cyberspace operations forces.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working for or supporting a Combatant Command, Joint Force Headquarters, Joint Task Force, Joint Duty Assignment, Cyber Mission Force team, or Intelligence Community organizations

  • 2+ years of experience interacting with and providing briefs to senior leaders

  • Experience with using the Microsoft Office tool suite

  • Experience with supporting data gathering using various techniques, including working groups, interviews, and surveys

  • Ability to work independently and develop plans of action in support of identified goals

  • Ability to create clear, concise, solution-oriented reports for a variety of audiences at varying levels of detail

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Lesson Managers or supporting a Lessons Learned program within the Department of Defense

  • Experience with training, in a training environment or at a programmatic level, such as working on training standards or developing training pipelines

  • Experience in Business Administration, Business Process Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related work that included lifecycle planning and requirements analysis

  • Ability to look at a problem analytically and form recommendations to address issues or craft plans of action for further evaluation

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
