Network Discovery Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Conducts technical exploitation and analysis of SIGINT and discovery of intelligence related to cyber, networks, access, protocols, signals, communication media, and persona. Works in cybersecurity, network analysis, computer network operations, big data analytics, scripting and telecommunications. Applies blended comprehension of technical and intelligence fields to support client missions.  Works together, side-by-side with customers to tackle complex and challenging problems in computer network analysis, network exploitation, Cyber threat intelligence, digital network intelligence, dataflow, SIGINT development, network mapping and discovery, computer networking, and intrusion analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with networking or intrusion analysis
  • Experience in working with telecommunication systems or malware
  • Knowledge of network communication using TCP/IP protocols, system administration, malware communication and installation, computer network defense operations  or open source information collection.
  • Knowledge of Domain Name Service records
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and data network protocols, including ARP, DHCP, HTTP, SNMP, and TCP and protocol analysis tools, including TCP Dump and Wireshark
  • Ability to be proficient with hunting APT data using open source, commercial cyber threat analytic tools, and SIGINT Intelligence repositories
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with performing computer network exploitation and analysis
  • Experience with Windows Host and Network Forensics
  • Ability to be a self-starter and can engage and develop relationships with intrusion set subject matter experts and analyst counterparts across the Intelligence communities
  • BA or BS degree
