Criminal Intelligence Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide non-personal professional services as a watch-stander in the headquarters. Synthesize threat and hazard information provided by federal, state, local, tribal, and open source reporting systems to deliver threat and hazard analysis and assessment reports. Prepare and provide various analysis and assessment products, daily reports, and trend analysis to anticipate potential threats to client missions. Develop and maintain a threat database incorporating threat activity data to inform threat analysis and assessment. Monitor and report activities and events that directly threaten personnel, infrastructure, resources, critical information, or missions. Collaborate with active duty, civil service government staff, counterparts across DoD, DHS, and other government agencies. This position requires the ability to work rotating shifts between 8 and 12 hours in duration and travel up to 10%. This position is located in San Antonio, Texas, with no remote delivery.

Basic Qualification:
-5+ years of experience in law enforcement in a military, local, state, or federal organization 
-Knowledge of field's concepts, practices, and procedures, including link analysis 
-Ability to work irregular, rotating shifts 
-Ability to rapidly assimilate emerging analytical software tools
-Ability to work as a member of a team

-Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualification:
-12+ years experience in the law enforcement field or related work  

-Experience in the military at the service component or higher level 
-Experience with demonstrating initiative and requiring little or no supervision 
-Ability to lead and direct the work of others 

-Possession of excellent written and oral communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance

-MA or MS degree
