Data Business Intelligence Analyst

The Opportunity:

As data business intelligence analyst, you love supporting, extending, and improving data analysis and management of business information. You'll serve as a thought leader for the team, advise on business requirements, data presentation, report performance and metrics, and measures that inform business insights and support decision making. We are looking for someone like you to propel business intelligence and analytics capabilities forward. 

As a client-facing data business intelligence analyst, you’ll be trusted to advance client initiatives at different levels, apply deep business analytical expertise to functional business requirements, increase awareness and adoption of data analytics capabilities, and display a proven track record of absorbing innovative technologies and processes quickly. You will operate in a dynamic problem-solving environment that requires experience in taking initiative to solve complex problems. 

How You’ll Contribute: 

  • Recommend innovative solutions that merge business information with strategic data analytics priorities, goals, and direction.

  • Consult on using business intelligence data for analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools like Tableau or Power BI.

  • Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.

  • Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities based on mission needs.

  • Grow your communication and technical skills by merging consulting and analytics to empower organizations to create data-centric solutions.

You Have:  

  • 3+ years of experience with gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data

  • Experience with business intelligence tools, including Tableau or Power BI

  • Ability to be self-motivated and directed

  • Ability to multitask and respond to tight deadlines 

  • Ability to comprehend technical details and communicate with non-technical audiences

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

 
Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with Python or R

  • Experience with law enforcement or physical security operations

  • Experience with providing business intelligence analysis results or updates to senior military leadership

  • Experience with consulting

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Possession of excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
