SharePoint Design Strategist, Mid

Key Role:

Apply design principles and techniques to both digital and non-digital problems, base strategies on a foundation of research, and provide business analysis support for the strategy, design, and implementation of SharePoint 2013 solutions. Lead stakeholder engagement efforts to promote better comprehension of SharePoint capabilities and enforce user adoption. Work with stakeholders to capture emerging requirements for business process automation, dashboards, workflows, collaboration spaces, and other SharePoint-based capabilities. Apply functional and technical comprehension of SharePoint capabilities to recommend solutions that streamline stakeholder business processes. Define functional requirements and propose technical solutions, including the review of existing solutions to avoid redundancy. Manage the execution of SharePoint governance processes, including change control board (CCB) and perform project management duties to track execution, monitor progress, and report to contract management. Demonstrate expertise in communications and adapt to a variety of tasks while working within a dynamic team environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with stakeholder engagement for IT projects

  • 5+ years of experience with developing out of the box (OOTB) solutions for SharePoint 2010 and 2013

  • 5+ years of experience with using SharePoint designer to create workflows and customize SharePoint lists, libraries, and pages

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products

  • 3+ years of experience with business analysis and requirements management

  • Knowledge of SharePoint governance and information architecture principles

  • Ability to conduct data gathering, research, and analysis, design and develop recommendations, and communicate through briefings and written documents

  • Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Visio a plus

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

  • Experience with the Air Force or other DoD clients

  • Abiltiy to be a self-starter, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision

  • Ability to liaise between stakeholders, project managers, and a technical team to comprehend the client mission

  • Possession of excellent team-oriented, team building, presentation, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • SharePoint 2010, 2013, or 2016 Certification
