SharePoint Web Developer, Mid

The Challenge:

Are you passionate about crafting an amazing user experience? The right interface can make a SharePoint 2013 site easy to use, encourage early adoption, and save time and resources. We’re looking for you, a web developer who will use equal parts skill and vision to build an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency. You will provide SharePoint 2013 development support for Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) and code-based solutions that often use client-side scripting modalities, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with the potential to support SharePoint migration activities. You will apply expertise and creativity in optimizing the user interface for SharePoint-based capabilities to support client Knowledge Management (KM) requirements, including using SharePoint Designer to develop workflows, customizing SharePoint lists and libraries by leveraging CAML queries corresponding to Managed Client-Side Object Model Code and REST API calls. Apply comprehension of SharePoint capabilities to recommend technical solutions that accommodate functional requirements, considering development best practices, cost, and timeline. Demonstrate expertise in communications and adapt a variety of technical tasks while working in a dynamic team environment.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with developing out of the box (OOTB) and code-based solutions for SharePoint 2010 and 2013
  • 5+ years of experience with using JavaScript, HTML, CAML queries, and REST in the development of SharePoint solutions
  • 5+ years of experience with using SharePoint designer to create workflows and customize SharePoint lists, libraries, and pages

  • Experience with the SharePoint client object model
  • Experience with CSS and master page configuration
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to conduct data gathering, research, and analysis, design and develop recommendations, and communicate through briefings and written documents
  • Ability to develop and maintain technical design artifacts and requirements documentation
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree required

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio a plus
  • Experience with the Air Force or other DoD clients
  • Ability to be a self-starter, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to liaise between stakeholders, project managers, and a technical team to comprehend the client mission and translate into recommendations for technical solutions
  • Possession of excellent team-oriented, team building, presentation, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • SharePoint 2010, 2013, or 2016 Certification
