Security Cooperation Analyst, Senior

As a Security Cooperation Analyst, you use your specialized subject matter expertise to perform document review and release and your attention to detail to help develop finished intelligence products to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. As a Security Cooperation Analyst on our team, you’ll help your client in the Security Cooperation Planning Process. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you will directly support the client’s ability to fulfill their mission. As the authority on document review, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset on applicable US law, regulation, and policy. You will share your expertise with analysts through leadership and mentoring. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you will have resources to learn new skills and tools. You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Foreign Policy analyst, aide or staff member supporting United States Army Security Cooperation Planning

  • Knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP)

  • Ability to brief products, including operation orders, mission analysis and decision briefs

  • Top Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Nice if You Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams

  • Ability to interface with other key stakeholders on issues related to allies and partners, international engagements and strategic development

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively across the civilian and military spectrum from the Action Officer to the General Officer or Flag Officer

  • Ability to travel internationally

  • MA or MS degree

  • Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) Basic or Intermediate Certification


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
