Operations Research Analyst

Key Role:

Collaborate with a leading-edge space and aeronautics team to solve challenging client problems, including project planning and control (PP&C) activities, data analytics, and the development of emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership to ensure the client’s project success. Maintain responsibility for consulting with project-specific subject matter experts, decision-makers, and leaders to assist in the development and execution of technical and non-technical recommendations to ensure project success across a variety of areas. Document processes and procedures in a clear manner and work closely with other analysts and project managers to achieve the client's goal or mission. Support the research of developing technologies within the project and help provide guidance aligned to the client's mission.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with delivering risk and mission analytics in support of project decision-making and understanding the workings, structure, and culture of the organization
  • 2+ years of experience with leveraging front-end solutions to analyze and resolve critical data issues using various mission assurance methodologies
  • 1+ years of experience with predictive modeling techniques
  • Ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Technology

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with identifying data sources and manipulating and extracting data for dashboards, visualization, or reports
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Access, Excel, Power Apps, SharePoint, and Teams 
  • Experience with Power BI and Power Automate
  • Experience with independent risk assessments, including Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), Joint Confidence Levels (JCL), and Monte Carlo Simulations
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written skills
  • MA or MS degree in Data Science
