Configuration/Data Management Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Design and establish configuration management documentation. Authorize the release of documents and changes specified by Program Management and other functional groups. May act as a liaison between Program Management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding configuration documentation. Provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation. Develop and administer configuration management plans; maintains design traceability and integrity; convenes and manages change boards; and prepares for and attends major events, including Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Functional and physical Configuration Audits FCA/PCAs). Maintain an in-depth understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and change control documentation. May provide work leadership for lower-level employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-Ability to review and analyze Configuration Management (CM) program and data deliveries/CDRLs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
-Ability to maintain CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records
-Ability to review and analyze proposed changes to ensure operational and sustainment capabilities are not adversely affected by the changes
-Ability to prepare for, conduct, or support major audits, including Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and to chair cross-functional Configuration Control Boards (CCB) to evaluate proposed changes
-Ability to record and maintain assessment and audit findings, minutes, and action items and process Government and Contractor correspondence
-Ability to develop and administer configuration management plans that cover Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs), Problem Reports (PRs) and Action Items (AIs)
