ServiceNow Application Architect

The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to lead the development of a ServiceNow platform implementation that will have an impact on DoD business operations in support of the warfighter?  Solid platform development is a critical part of any program’s success, and you know how to do it right – scalable design with baked in security. That’s why we need you, a lead ServiceNow Application Architect with the skills to navigate and build solutions on this platform that will transform the DoD Client's business operations.

You will lead the design and configuration of a client’s ServiceNow implementation architecture.  Work with a service management team on developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and solutions to implement system stakeholder requirements. You will advise the team in performing hands-on design, development, and modification to extend capabilities offered by the ServiceNow platform. You will work with the team to build customized ServiceNow applications, apply expertise in technical work, leverage a variety of software engineering techniques, and build and refine business logic to enhance team capabilities, improve security, and maximize the ServiceNow ROI. You will demonstrate thought leadership resulting in new technical capabilities and approaches. You will work with DoD customers to understand their mission, current architecture and priorities, and security requirements. With a focus on the customer’s goals, you’ll build a ServiceNow solution design that will scale to meet their evolving needs. Your technical expertise will be vital as you recommend tools and capabilities based on your understanding of the current environment and new technology. You will be working with market leaders to shape our ServiceNow offering and delivery to market clients.  Join us as we develop ServiceNow software solutions to make a difference in the DoD. You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience developing ServiceNow solutions across all platform applications, including ITSM, ITOM, Asset Mgt, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC and HR. Experience Glidescripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, out of the box config, custom apps, and development methods
  • 5+ years of experience architecting, designing, and implementing ServiceNow systems, solutions, and tools across the Platform for DoD or Federal organizations
  • Experience with requirements management and Agile development practices
  • Experience working with Government clients in the development of ServiceNow implementation strategies and roadmaps for optimal implementation leveraging best practices
  • Experience leading development teams providing guidance and mentorship for staff members while sharing experiences
  • Ability to collaborate with project and proposal teams effectively to incorporate ServiceNow solutions and while articulating high-quality implementation plans
  • Ability to work with senior leaders and executives to foster positive client relationships
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two or more ServiceNow developer Certifications from the application modules - ITSM, ITOM, Asset Mgt, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC or HR

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Web development, including technologies, such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, or Angular and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java
  • Experience implementing scripted web services in ServiceNow, jQuery or Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP web service protocols
  • Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP
  • ServiceNow Certification, including Certified ServiceNow Master Architect, Certified Application Developer, or Certified System Administrator
  • DoD 8570 Certification, including Security+ or CSSP
  • ITILv3 Foundations Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 160,000 to 200,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
