Systems Security and Network Security Engineer

The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experience in implanting security systems and identifying tools to safeguard our nation? As a systems security and network security engineer, you can identify the tool, security system, device, and application needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experience to lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will protect our most critical infrastructure.

On our team, you’ll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of network and security devices and applications. You’ll use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions. Using your knowledge and experience, you’ll assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls. You'll design, test, stage, and deploy cybersecurity systems, including physical, virtual, containerized, and cloud, to protect and defend enterprise networks. You'll design interfaces, integrate systems and platforms, and maintain hardware and software components, configuration, and patching. You'll provide requirement and technical support to application developers and analyze systems for malware or unauthorized activities. You'll also investigate incidents to determine root cause and perform investigations and forensic analysis leveraging, logs, hard drive images, and other data.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity engineering

  • Experience with security architecture design and integration

  • Experience installing, operating, and maintaining perimeter and end point security devices, systems, and appliances

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the intelligence community

  • Experience with systems, tools, and integrating data from sources, including Splunk, FireEye, Cisco, Palo Alto, Tanium, Snort, Bro, Solarwinds, or RedSeal

  • Knowledge of intelligence community directives and application

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • DoD 8750 IAT or IAM Certifications


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
