Test Engineer and Technologist, Senior

Key Role:

Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization. Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes. Establish and maintain a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation or assist with the evaluation. Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards. Assist in the management and development of an architecture governance process. Conduct or participate in formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development life cycle. Build relationships and thrive in a client site environment. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with functional testing
  • Experience with automated testing, including unit test, integration test, and UI test and using tools, such as Katalon, JUnit, Spring Test, Cypress.io, and Jest
  • Experience with testing applications in an Amazon Web Services environment
  • Experience with testing applications in an Agile software development environment
  • Experience with working independently or under limited direction or guidance
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with using issue and project tracking software
  • Experience with testing Web applications
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with the project management framework
  • Ability to write and maintain technical documents
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
