As a Strategic and Operational Planner, you’ll bring your leadership, strategic experience and technical expertise to work alongside leaders in the Department of Defense on projects in the INDOPACOM area of operations. You’ll use your skills and expertise to advise, develop and integrate solutions that enhance and simplify the complex related to Army and Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), counter-improvised explosive device (C-IED), and Technical Exploitation Programs.

You Have:
- 4+ years of experience planning at the Brigade level or higher
- 4+ years of experience with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) or Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP)
- Experience with Theater Campaign Plans and national-level strategic guidance
- Knowledge of EOD and C-IED identity activities, plans and policy
- Ability to take a planning effort from the concept phase to development and orders production
- Ability to deliver verbal and written communication, presentations and concept of operations brief to executive level leaders
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member to develop collaborative solutions for shared challenges
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
- 4+ years of experience addressing challenges specific to the INDOPACOM AOR
- Experience working with Weapons Technical Intelligence
- Experience with the Army Global Force Management (GFM) process
- Experience with the Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) Programs
- Experience with DoD or U.S. Army exploitation programs and policies
- Ability to facilitator for working groups and inter-organizational meetings
- Completion of the Military Education Level 4 Qualification Course or an equivalent program
- Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS), or an equivalent advanced military program
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
