Joint Plans and Operation Specialist

Key Role: 

Serve as Joint planner and operations officer supporting the INDOPACOM Engineer Staff. Analyze orders, meet client mission objectives, and support the planning and execution of deliberate, contingency, and crisis plans. Provide recommendations and assistance to Operational Planning Groups, Boards, Bureaus, Centers, Cells, and Working Groups, including Joint exercise support. Assist with drafting, coordinating, and attaining approval of plans and orders to subordinate commanders, external agencies, and INDOPACOM staff. Participate in joint planning to support initiatives. 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 7+ years of experience supporting and planning military operations

  • 3+ years of experience supporting Joint military operations

  • 3+ years of experience working in the Indo-Pacific Command Area of Responsibility (AOR)

  • Experience in mission planning with a military Operational Planning Team (OPT) or Joint Planning Group (JPG)

  • Knowledge of service component relationships with higher level commands and subordinate task forces

  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, and staff courses of action through organization leadership to orchestrate employment of Joint Engineer capabilities throughout the AOR

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of experience supporting military engineer operations

  • Experience with joint planning to support Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) initiatives

  • Experience drafting Joint Orders, tasking orders, and operations orders

  • Experience as an Action Officer (AO)

  • Ability to use Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Master’s degree

  • Military Education Level 4 Certification

  • JPME-I Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
