We’re looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with our client's extensive qualifications to meet law enforcement needs.

As an advanced data scientist and researcher on our law enforcement team you will apply original and innovative methodologies to make a real-world impact. You’ll grow your skills in data science, predictive modeling, and so much more, and shape the future of analytics through a variety of means...most importantly delivering leading-edge solutions that will change the course of future mission execution.

You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience in the data science field
  • 5+ years of experience with supporting complex missions developing data science solutions from scratch
  • Experience with Big Data programming technologies and distributed data and computing tools, including Hadoop, Spark, R, and Hive
  • Experience with developing a wide range of predictive and decision models, quantitative analysis, and visualization of target data sources
  • Experience with Python development
  • Knowledge of commercial cloud platforms, services, and technologies
  • Ability to effectively comprehend and decompose stakeholder requirements, and report and communicate those complex findings and dense technical concepts to non-technical decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience in natural language processing (NLP) topics and application of deep learning to NLP
  • Experience with performing data transformation and modelling in Databricks
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master’s degree
  • Data Science or Cloud Development Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
