The Opportunity:
Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. As a database administrator with SQL administrator experience, you know how to manage and secure database technology. What if you could use those skills to improve the database technology supporting the Department of Justice?
On our team, you’ll create and maintain user profiles for database access, constantly look for ways to implement database tuning and performance optimization, perform backup and recovery, configure database parameters, and design prototypes against logical data model. You’ll provide your client with peace of mind as you implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database.
In this role, you’ll closely impact both law enforcement and national security by managing databases. With your technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we’ll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:
10+ years of experience in information technology, software development, or software design
4+ years of experience with Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, or Azure Database administration
1+ years of experience with Linux administration
Experience in database administration on production servers with server configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and maintenance for outstanding troubleshooting capabilities, oracle replication, backup or recovery, and disaster recovery and planning
Knowledge of government-wide system design, information technology equipment and services
Knowledge of federal information system policies, including NIST 800.53, FISMA, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and configuration management
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with PL/SQL and SQL*Loader
Experience in a DevOps or Agile development environment
Clearance:
