On our team, you'll translate your customer’s software needs and future goals into a plan by developing and implementing effective software design specifications and process improvements. You’ll use the latest software control systems to design an effective software architecture. Your technical expertise will be vital as you create software solutions using Agile development.
In this role, you’ll directly impact national defense by designing crucial software schemes to provide real-time solutions. With your technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, you’ll help leverage a team that develops the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:
5+ years of experience in software engineering or software development for information technology systems
Experience in an Agile or DevOps enterprise environment using Atlassian tools such as Jira or Confluence
Experience supporting product selection initiatives, including A&O, AI, analytics, secure DevOps, identify and access management, or network access control
Experience selecting, designing, and implementing security tools and capabilities for large, complex federal or commercial organizations
Experience with developing and implementing impactful architecture solutions in production environments
Experience with architecture domains, including mission, business, data, application, or infrastructure for solution development
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 9+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Space Systems or Satellite Communications
Experience with identifying software architectural patterns and creating scalable designs
Experience with guiding development teams and managing complex projects simultaneously
Ability to align technical strategies with business goals
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
