Solutions Architect

The Opportunity:

Design enterprise architecture (EA) to enable strategic or tactical transformations through informed decision-making at any level of an enterprise to support governance, future growth, adaptability, optimization, innovation, and modernization initiatives such as cloud or digital solutions. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.

You Have:

• Experience with big data technologies, including development of large-scale data processing pipelines

• Experience with modern technologies, including Agile, DevOps, Cloud, and open platforms

• Experience working on real-time data and streaming applications

• Knowledge of Data Lakehouse architecture

• Ability to lead discussions with various stakeholders to conduct strategic planning, define business objectives, prioritize goals, and mitigate risks

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with large multi-team development projects, including architecture solutioning, staffing and timeline management, solution alternative recommendations, and overseeing all aspects of project delivery and risk, OR 12+ years of experience with large multi-team development projects, including architecture solutioning, staffing and timeline management, solution alternative recommendations, and overseeing all aspects of project delivery and risk in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience designing and developing ETL workflows using tools such as Apache Spark or AWS Glue

• Experience with different data storage technologies and databases, including Amazon S3 or Amazon Redshift

• Experience supporting the IC- and national-level system security initiatives

• Experience developing machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions

• Possession of excellent written and verbal communications skills

• AWS Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
