Financial Analyst

Key Role:

Conduct and document complex financial analysis projects, including budgeting, auditing, and forecasting analysis. Research financial and economic trends and develop short-term forecasts. Ensure management's comprehension of rate and budgeted issues. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations. Conduct and lead audits, as needed. Provide work leadership to junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years experience with the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) or other government financial systems, including Syncada, FCM, EDA, EDM, or AXOL

-Experience with accounting, finance, or logistics departments in the US Army or DoD

-Experience with unmatched transactions (UMT) and intermediate document (IDOC) resolution processing

-Experience with supply purchasing activities in the Army and across government agencies
-Knowledge of standard procurement system (SPS) contracts and how to read contract details

-Knowledge of electronic document access (EDA) and electronic document management (EDM) for pulling documents, including contracts and disbursing officer's vouchers (DOVs), government purchase card (GPC) processes, and Access Online (AXOL)

-Knowledge of GFEBS and working with legacy Army systems, including the Defense Travel System (DTS), Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARRS), Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE), and Funds Control Module (FCM)

-Knowledge of business intelligence tools and SAP Business Intelligence and Business Objects

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent client management skills
