Combat Systems Manager

Key Role:

Bring in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or Joint missions, processes, and culture. Solve complex challenges and shapes sea control and power projection by leading combat systems development. Apply knowledge of combat system end-user applications, leveraging real-world experience to help with the design and development of these systems and evolve them with advanced technology solutions. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Use operational Navy experience in complex environments and robust knowledge of defense systems and sensors. This position is open to remote delivery from any location in the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience as a Combat Systems practitioner in both operations and practices onboard US Navy warships in deployed environments

-Experience in developing plans and processes to communicate with stakeholders at the shipboard and theater level

-Experience with operations, sensors, and weapons system integration onboard US Naval ships

-Knowledge of upgrades and modernization efforts

-Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and procedures

-Ability to lead a diverse team of technical, functional, and mission experts

-Ability to advise on developing and tailoring technical strategies and acquisition documents

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the AEGIS Weapon System, SSDS, or COMBATSS-21

-PMP Certification

-SWO or ESWS Qualification
