Red and Blue Team Lead

Key Role:

Serve in a senior level technical role and proactively identify security weaknesses, test against vulnerabilities, analyze results, and report and brief findings to leadership and a range of technical and non-technical staff. Interact with other cybersecurity professionals, IT, and business stakeholders to improve the security posture of the organization and enterprise networks. Ensure the team is constantly improving the information security practices of the organization, provide remediation to identified risks, and maintain a strong understanding of emerging security practices and ethical standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in red or blue team and planning practices

  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity engineering

  • Experience leading red team penetration testing or offensive penetration testing or cyber threat emulation

  • Experience with open security testing standards and projects, including OWASP and ATT&CK

  • Ability to identify security requirements for connected and non-connected systems

  • Ability to convey results in form technical reports

  • Ability to communicate with others, organize activities, analyze threat data, and present solutions to complex problems

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with formal red or blue team training

  • Experience with project management processes and principles as applied to red or blue teaming

  • Ability to lead a team of cyber experts planning and executing ethical hacking scenarios

  • Ability to communicate through formal briefings and reports with senior level technical and management client leaders
