The Challenge:
You’ll join a world-class team of RF Engineers providing RF modeling and simulation (M&S) support and subject matter expertise to clients across Booz Allen's portfolio. Your primary task will be to work side-by-side with a key client to investigate computational electromagnetic (CEM) methods and techniques for accurately predicting key performance parameters for RF systems in complex environments. You’ll conduct literature reviews, analysis studies, validation studies, and product comparisons. You’ll help to define the technical path forward for the near- and long-term implementation of our client's CEM capability. You’ll reach back to Booz Allen's RF Center of Excellence for additional SME support, tools, and compute resources, as needed.
Empower change with us.
You Have:
-9 years of experience with engineering
-Experience with several of the following algorithms and methods: GTD and UTD, shooting and bouncing ray, FDTD, PO, MoM, GO, FEM, PWE, or empirical propagation models
-Experience with importing and refining geometry, including terrain and buildings for CEM applications
-Knowledge of state-of-the-art computational electromagnetic modeling
-Knowledge of input and output formats and transformation thereof
-Ability to simulate RF performance accurately in complex scenarios and quantify the error
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-MA or MS degree in Engineering, CS, or Physics
Nice If You Have:
-15 years of experience in a professional work environment
-Experience with programming and implementing one or more algorithms
-Experience with programming for massively parallel computation
-Experience with publishing papers through IEEE, ACES, or a similar organization actively
-PhD degree in EE, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
