Key Role:
Act as a strategic business leader and program manager partnering directly with internal and external senior leaders, including Officers-In-Charge (OICs) to effectively lead the delivery of multi-million-dollar DoD engagements while leading program or project teams throughout the system delivery life cycle. Support the government and military with critical missions and maintain responsibility for the leadership and development of experienced teams of professionals ranging in size from 25-50 FTEs. Bring innovative thinking regarding technical management, service delivery, and business management. Provide delivery leadership, business management, and client management for multiple software development projects or programs. Maintain responsibility for providing guidance and direction on technical management, business management, service delivery, and overall contract performance. Drive all aspects of contract management, financial, and budget control and maintain responsibility for reviewing the financial performance of existing programs. Debrief executive leadership with reviews of financial estimates and ROMs for new development efforts and lead and develop a diverse team of professionals.
Basic Qualifications:
-15+ years of experience with managing the development of integrated hardware and software systems in the DoD, federal government, or commercial entities
-10+ years of experience with technical solutioning
-Experience with managing projects using SDLC models, CMMI, agile, or spiral development, and Cloud enabled solutions, architecture development, and "As a Service" offerings
-Experience with managing contracts, including those greater than $5 million and potentially multiple subcontractors
-Experience with leading project teams of 25+ and acting as the client relationship manager
-Ability to design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications for target system using agile methods
-Active Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Naval aircraft or shipboard architectures
-5+ years of experience with NAVAIR
-Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Level III Program Manager Certification
-Possession of excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective senior government clients
-Agile Certified Professional (ACP) or Certified ICAgile Professional Certification preferred
