Naval Aviation Specialist

Key Role:

Support defense acquisition and sustainment commands with life cycle logistics planning and execution. Apply specific functional knowledge. May develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance; may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with complex and technically demanding project tasks, including Naval Aviation Maintenance and Readiness

  • Experience using Naval Aviation data systems, including AIRRS, AMSRR, OOMA/NALCOMIS, DECKPLATE, and SERMIS

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Access to perform root cause analysis

  • Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working with corporate/executive level management

  • Experience with writing Structured Query Language (SQL)

  • Experience with ALIS/LSEMS in addition to legacy data systems

  • Experience with Tableau, Qlik, and/or SharePoint

  • Knowledge of Naval Sustainment System (NSS) implementation

  • Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification
