Naval Aviation Test Engineer

Key Role:

Support test and evaluation of Naval Air Systems. Evaluate and test innovative technologies to maintain air superiority in support of Air Warfare and Surface Warfare mission areas. Plan, execute, analyze, and report on testing of aviation based electronic warfare capabilities in support of mission effectiveness. Develop and analyze tests for products and systems and apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise in support of government clients. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems while mentoring and supervising junior staff. This position requires the ability to travel.

Basic Qualifications: 

-Experience with test and evaluation processes related to Naval aviation systems

-Knowledge of concepts such as interoperability, system of systems, mission systems integration, and mission-based testing

-Ability to travel

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree and 5+ years of experience with Test Engineering or MA or MS degree and 3+ years of experience with Test Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with testing of data links, airborne radar, or data fusion preferred

-Knowledge of phased array radars, radar theory, and electronic warfare preferred

-Knowledge of tactical data links, including Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) and Link-16 preferred

-TS/SCI clearance
