Job Description
Key Role:
Interface with senior level customers, warfighters, and leadership. Create, update, and maintain the Software Configuration Management Plan (SCMP). Define, develop, document, and implement, through the Software Configuration Change Board (SCCB), all Configuration Management processes and procedures required to achieve the goals of the SCMP. Select, install, configure, document and maintain the Configuration Management processes as directed and approved by the SCCB. Manage the Software Development Libraries (SDL). Provide ongoing oversight, validation, verification and support for change management within the configuration management tools. Train project personnel on the use of configuration management tools. Provide all official releases to test or other external organizations as directed by the program leadership. Perform the Configuration Status Accounting (CSA). Conduct Configuration Management reviews and audits, Baseline Audits, and In-Process Audits.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with working in an Agile software development environment
Knowledge of Atlassian Software Suite, including JIRA, Stash, Confluence, or Bamboo
Knowledge of scripting
Knowledge of Linux Operating System
Knowledge of Android OS and Android application development
Knowledge of Windows Operating System
Knowledge of GIT and Subversion (SVN) version control system
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED and 14+ years of experience in software configuration management, Associate’s degree and 12+ years of experience in software configuration management, Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in software configuration management, or Master’s degree and 1+ year of experience in software configuration management
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Tactical networks and mission command systems
Experience with handheld mobile computing devices
Experience with Department of Defense networks, systems and processes
Experience with troubleshooting, problem resolution and customer interfacing
Knowledge of Soldier or other Army Mission Command and Control systems
Knowledge of Software engineering processes, tools, and methods
Knowledge of Software design, test, development, or support
Knowledge of operating systems, system administration and network protocols, documentation, and business tools and methodologies
Knowledge of CloudWatch Dashboards or Grafana and Nagios XI
Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
