Acquisition Policy Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Assist our government partners with researching major organizational contracts and procurements. Apply advanced consulting or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Experience with federal government contracting policy
  • Experience researching, writing, and delivering reports and presentations in response to tasking’s similar to or including the Congressional Budget Justification Book
  • Ability to help analyze and modify client acquisition policies and instructions and monitor relevant statues, regulations, and policies
  • Ability to collect and assemble COTR certification data, assist COTRs with the certification process, and identify changes to certification requirements
  • Ability to assist with organizing, scheduling, coordinating, and publicizing monthly training sessions for COTRs, help prepare and present the training materials, coordinate the training location, track attendees, ensure attendees receive appropriate credit, and provide recommendations for future training
  • Ability to collect, input, and maintain accurate data within a variety of spreadsheets, databases, Web sites, and other automated tools, assist users who are inputting data, and coordinate corrective actions with customers and database administrators
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of BASIS/COGNOS
  • Ability to draft and modify ODNI acquisition policies and instructions
  • Ability to monitor relevant statutes, regulations, and policies 
  • Ability to collect, input and maintain accurate data within a variety of spreadsheets, databases, websites, and other automated tools
  • Ability to assist users who are inputting data and coordinate corrective actions with customers and database administrators
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
