Key Role:
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all aspects of the firm’s accounting for acquisition and divestiture activities. Maintain responsibility of ownership over U.S. GAAP accounting conclusions and activities related to the firm’s broad corporate development initiatives, which includes acquisitions of controlling financial interests and non-controlling financial interests, divestitures, and various third-party investments. Maintain responsibility for the support of finance, accounting, and tax buy-side due diligence activities over various acquisition targets including all accounting conclusions related to consolidation, equity method accounting and cost method accounting for acquisition targets, plus accounting conclusions and activities related to deconsolidation. Provide thought leadership and valuation oversight related to purchase accounting for completed acquisitions and finance integration activities following successful acquisitions. Interact with resources from our strategy and corporate development teams, as well as key members of our business markets and other corporate functions, including people services and legal and other pillars within finance, including FP&A, contracts, pricing, and procurement. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
