Artificial Intelligence Tradecraft Subject Matter Expert

The Opportunity:

Booz Allen is looking for a dynamic Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tradecraft Subject Matter Expert to join our team to aid in the implementation and execution of customer AI strategies, AI governance, tradecraft, policy, and standards. You will use your AI knowledge to support the establishment and rollout of guidance related to AI Tradecraft at the working level. You'll aid in implementing responsible AI governance services and tools to help customers operationalize AI governance. You will validate the AI model and AI systems compliance with new and evolving AI governance guidelines and support mitigating compliance issues. You'll track and measure AI governance progress and its impact on customers' AI Maturity posture and overall mission. Finally, you will manage the execution of campaigns and working groups related to key AI strategic initiatives. 

Your AI subject matter expertise will enable clients to establish the guardrails required to successfully expand ethical AI adoption and use across the Enterprise. It will also contribute to educating and socializing ethical AI standards, policies, and guidelines to ensure AI specialists, data scientists, developers, and general users are aware and prepared to properly adopt and adapt to those standards.   

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with researching and identifying new AI applications, techniques, and trends  
  • Experience with implementing AI or AI-related strategies to advance customer goals and objectives 
  • Experience with tracking and monitoring AI/ML models, system performance, and compliance with customer standards, policies, and guidance
  • Knowledge of national ethical AI policies, guidance, and best practices    
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph 
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with supporting IT transformations or other change management efforts 
  • Experience with briefing senior-level government officials 
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, yet fast-paced environment  
  • Ability to be a self-starter and critical thinker
  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including engaging with customers, teammates, and project partners
  • Master's degree preferred; Doctorate degree a plus

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
