Business and IT Process Analyst, Senior

The Challenge:

As a Business and Information Technology (IT) Process Analyst, you will work to capture and define system requirements and associated business processes to improve systems and ensure they meet stakeholder needs. You will work with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements and translate them into system requirements for software developers to implement. You will translate and document business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories, process charts and workflows, or standard operating procedures. You will coordinate with developers and testers to ensure understanding of requirements and support implementation of tools and features that meet user needs. You will coordinate with team members to support the full life cycle of IT requirements management, including gathering, analyzing, verifying, and validating the needs and requirements for the client system.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with gathering and writing business or software requirements
  • Experience in working collaboratively with team members, government clients, and stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Visio
  • Experience with Agile tools, including Jira
  • Experience with writing requirements as features or user stories
  • Experience in working and collaborating with technical staff and engineers
  • Experience with systems engineering or software development
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Process and Agile development
  • Ability to think critically, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree
