Community Partnerships Program Manager

Key Role:

Report to the Community Impact Partnership Lead. Manage nonprofit partnerships, collaborating with Booz Allen business units and regional teams to amplify local impact, coordinate the company’s pro bono portfolio, and cultivate and sustain relationships with nonprofit partners to address these needs, ensuring both measurable business and social impact. Oversee a portfolio of nonprofit partnerships to ensure alignment with Booz Allen’s impact goals. Manage grants, develop programs with partners, foster employee community engagement, communicate internally and externally, coordinate events, and conduct general program management and reporting. Coordinate community events that drive social impact and volunteerism while aligning with business objectives. Manage event logistics, communications, and volunteer recruitment, and implement systems to measure and evaluate impact. Collaborate with Booz Allen leadership to understand regional and business priorities, developing and executing regional strategies that empower local implementation. Strengthen connections with community organizations and facilitate meaningful partnerships between nonprofits and business stakeholders. Report regularly on program progress, using data and feedback to assess and improve program effectiveness while communicating impact to stakeholders. Collaborate with external vendors to establish and report on outcomes-based metrics. Create compelling narratives and communications materials to raise awareness, amplify progress, and highlight key events for both internal stakeholders and external audiences. Employ techniques in social responsibility, program management, and strategic communications to assist others with volunteer recruitment, grant management, employee engagement, event promotion. and logistical support. Build relationships while serving as program manager of the firm’s pro bono portfolio, which includes managing incoming requests, tracking budget, approvals, status of projects, measuring impact, and leveraging storytelling. Work with Booz Allen’s leadership to align community impact strategies with business and social impact goals, execute initiatives, and provide regular updates at an executive level. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in corporate community involvement, community relations, community partnerships, corporate philanthropy, or corporate social responsibility

  • Experience with program management aligning strategy, including project initiation, implementation, and closure

  • Experience as a partnerships program manager skilled in aligning with strategic goals, identifying targets, and managing partnerships throughout the entire program lifecycle, from inception to close-out

  • Experience working in a large corporation of 8,000+ employees

  • Experience engaging with senior leaders and providing updates

  • Ability to collaborate with corporate communication teams to engage internal and external audiences and to contribute to the company’s corporate affairs goals

  • Ability to manage relationships and community partnerships tracking, follow up, outcome measurement, and reporting

  • Ability to collaborate across organizational levels and influence a diverse community of stakeholders at various levels of seniority

  • Ability to manage complex, fast-evolving program components and multiple concurrent initiatives while effectively prioritizing tasks in response to changing needs

  • Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, Public Affairs, or Marketing

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience using PowerPoint and presenting to leadership

  • Experience with Theory of Change models

  • Knowledge of program evaluation and measurement

  • Ability to independently manage programs while also thriving in a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects to effectively manage priorities

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
